Manohar Agro Farm

You can find us over at 4, Sita Vihar Extension in the Maralipura area. Manohar Agro Farm is where we spend most of our time. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is nice for growing things. We deal with various agro products and look after the farm daily. There is always something to do, whether it's checking the soil or dealing with the water supply. It’s not a corporate office, just a farm where we get our hands dirty. The weather is our biggest boss, really. If it rains, the schedule changes. We keep our tools and supplies in a small shed on the property. People from the neighborhood sometimes drop by to see what’s happening. Maralipura has changed over the years, but we’re still here at Sita Vihar Extension. We aren't trying to be the biggest farm around, just doing our part. The work is physical and starts early in the morning before it gets too hot. Sometimes the crop is good, sometimes it takes more effort. We don't use any fancy machinery, just the basic stuff that works for us. It’s a quiet life mostly. If you’re looking for us, look for the green patches. We’re just local people working the land and hoping for a decent season. It’s hard work, but we like being out in the air. Sometimes we share tips with other local growers when they pass through Maralipura. There is always something new to learn about the plants.
