Manisha Handicrafts

If you come down to Street No 4 in the Santosh Nagar Colony of Brahmpuri, you’ll find us at number 47. That’s where Manisha Handicrafts is based. It’s more of a residential neighborhood, so it’s a bit quieter than the big markets. We work out of a small space here. It’s mostly where we store our items and do some of the packing. We deal with various handmade goods that come from different artisans. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, especially when things are coming and going all the time. Our office is just a room with some tables and a lot of boxes. We don't have a big sign outside or anything flashy. Most people who find us do so because someone told them where we were. We prefer it that way. It keeps things manageable for us. We spend our mornings checking the quality of the new pieces and our afternoons getting orders ready. It’s not a glamorous job, but we enjoy the pieces we handle. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play outside while we work. It’s a very local feel. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small family effort to keep things running. We’ve been at this spot for years and don’t plan on moving anytime soon. It suits us just fine to stay small and keep doing the work.
