Our location is on Amer Palace Road in Govind Nagar. It’s a part of town that sees a lot of visitors because of the palace nearby. Because of that, the road is always humming with cars and buses taking people up the hill. We have our shop set up here where we deal with various artistic items. It’s a mix of different things we’ve gathered or made. The building itself stays pretty cool even when it’s hot outside, which is a relief. We spend our days arranging the items, talking to people who wander in, and keeping the place clean. It’s not a high-pressure environment; we just take things as they come. Sometimes the mornings are quiet and we have time to organize the back room, which always seems to need it. We don’t go in for big sales pitches or anything like that. If someone likes something, they usually just say so. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time and have seen it grow quite a bit. Living and working so close to such a famous landmark is just normal for us now. We focus on the daily tasks, like dusting the shelves and making sure the displays look alright. It’s a steady kind of life, and we’re happy to just keep things running the way we always have without making any big changes.
