Kashish Import & Exports

Our office for Kashish Import & Exports is actually in a basement over on Shivanand Marg. It stays a bit cooler down there during the Jaipur heat, which is a relief. If you are looking for us, we are right on Calgary Road, near the Jhalana Pyau landmark. Most people miss the entrance the first time they come by because it is tucked away. A-105 is the building number. We have a lot of samples sitting around on the shelves and the light isn't the best, but we know where everything is. Managing imports and exports from a basement in Malviya Nagar keeps us busy from morning till night. My desk is right near the stairs. I hear the cars passing by overhead all day. We do a lot of checking and re-checking of the lists before anything goes out the door. It is a lot of small details to keep track of. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just sit around talking until it comes back on. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We just handle our business and make sure the customers get what they asked for. It is a quiet street mostly, except for when the school nearby lets out. Then it gets a bit noisy. We like being in this part of town though. It feels like home to us, and the basement space works for what we need.
