Malti Gramodyog Sansthan

You can find us at 160 Chandpole Bazar. It's a very busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street outside. Malti Gramodyog Sansthan is tucked away here among all the other shops. We have various local goods, mostly things made in villages or small workshops. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the boxes and shelves. We don't have fancy displays. People come in looking for specific things they’ve used for years. It’s an old building, so the walls are thick and it stays a bit cooler in the summer. We spend a lot of time sorting through inventory. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic in Chandpole. It's just a regular day-to-day operation. We know the other shopkeepers around here. We have tea together when it's not too busy. The floor is old stone and the shelves are wooden. It feels like an old-fashioned way of doing business, but it works for us. We don't use computers for everything; a lot is still written down in ledgers. Customers are mostly regulars who live nearby or come into the city for the market. We've been at 160 for a long time and don't plan on moving. It's a simple setup for simple products that people actually need. We just open the doors and see who comes in. It is a life lived in the market.
