Maheswari Classes

I start my morning at Vasundhara Colony, specifically at number 1. It is right on the Main Road here in Jaipur, so you can always hear the cars and scooters zooming past. The 302001 zip code area gets pretty busy during the daytime. I usually arrive a bit early to open up Maheswari Classes. The sun hits the front door around ten. Inside, it is just a regular setup with desks and some whiteboards. I spend most of my day sitting here or talking to the people who drop by. The walls are a plain color, and sometimes the fan makes a little clicking noise. People in the colony know us because we have been in this spot for some time now. You can see the sign from the road if you are walking toward the main market area. There is a small tea stall not too far away where I get my afternoon chai. The street gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, which is common in this part of Jaipur. It is not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. Most of the furniture has been here since we moved in. The floor needs a good sweep every evening because of all the feet coming through. It feels like a second home after spending so many hours within these four walls. I usually stay until the streetlights come on and the traffic starts to thin out a little bit.
