Mahendra Trading Company

We are located in the New Grain Mandi area of Chandpole Bazar. Mahendra Trading Company has been a part of this market for quite a while. Being in the mandi means our life revolves around the arrival of goods. Every morning, the place is a swarm of activity with tractors and porters. Our space is more of a warehouse and a basic office combined. There are no carpets or fancy paintings on the walls here. It’s just stacks of bags, some old wooden ledgers, and a couple of phones that never seem to stop ringing. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and other traders who come through the gates. The floor is usually covered in a bit of grain or dust from the sacks. We have a small area where we sit and have tea while discussing the prices for the day. It’s a very grounded sort of work. You get your hands dirty and you spend a lot of time on your feet. The heat in the summer can be tough since the mandi buildings are mostly tin and concrete, but we have our fans. We don't really do any advertising. People in the trade know where we are and what we handle. It's a community where a person's word matters more than a glossy brochure. We just show up every day, do the trades, and go home to rest.
