About Jai Bajrang Traders – Building & Construction Material in Jaipur
Surajpole is a crowded place to have a business, but we’ve been at 103 for a long time now. Being a trader means you are always on the phone or checking the stock in the back. There isn't much space to move around once the new crates arrive. I spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the counts are right. It’s a lot of "where is this" and "did that go out yet" kind of talk. The walls are a bit stained from years of use and the fan makes a clicking sound that I don’t even notice anymore. Some days the heat in the summer is almost too much, but we keep the doors open anyway. We handle all sorts of goods, and it changes depending on what’s moving in the market. I see the same delivery guys every day. We know their names and how they like their tea. It’s not a glamorous job. You get dirty, you get tired, and your back hurts from sitting on a stool that’s probably older than me. But it’s a living. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy. People just know we are here. Sometimes a neighbor stops by just to chat about the local news while we wait for a customer. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
