Arora Aluminium

Arora Aluminium is located in Raja Park at 427/3. It’s a nice area with a lot of shops and houses mixed together. We spend a lot of time with frames and glass and fittings. The shop isn't huge, so we have to keep everything very organized or we run out of room to move. I usually spend my mornings checking the orders and making sure we have enough material for the day's projects. Raja Park gets quite busy in the evenings, so we try to do most of the heavy loading and unloading early on. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll often see my nephew helping out or my wife dropping off some lunch. We don't have a big corporate strategy or anything like that. We just try to do a decent job so that people come back the next time they need a door or a window fixed. Sometimes the glass breaks during transport or a frame gets scratched, and we just have to start over and fix it. That’s just part of the business. We’ve been at this same spot for years and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s a steady life and we’re happy to be part of the community here without making a big fuss about it. We close up at seven and walk home after making sure the gate is locked.
