Madhu Hair

Our shop, Madhu Hair, is right near Style Tailor in the Sanganer area. It’s a busy little spot in Jaipur where people are always coming and going. We have been here for some time, just doing the usual hair cutting and shaving for the neighborhood. The shop isn't very large so it can get a bit tight when a few people are waiting. We have some plastic chairs outside for when it gets full. Sanganer is a place where everyone is busy with their work, so we try to get people in and out fast. We don't use any complicated machines, just the basic clippers and scissors. The mirrors are a bit spotted from the water spray, but they do the job. We know most of the people who come in because they live just a few streets away. It’s a simple life here. We open early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Sometimes we close for a bit in the afternoon for lunch. We don't have any big posters or bright lights. It’s just a regular local shop where you can get a decent trim for a fair price. The tailor next door is always busy too, so there is a lot of talk between the shops. We like being part of this community.
