Maa Jagadamba Hair Gents Parlour

Maa Jagadamba Hair Gents Parlour is found on Bansur Road in Kotputli, right near the Vidha Mandir. Being near a school means we see a lot of students coming in when their hair gets too long for the teachers' liking. The shop is a simple room with some bright lights and a few chairs. We have a couple of fans on the ceiling that wobble a little when they are on high speed. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some calendars hanging up. Most days involve a lot of standing and talking to the people from the neighborhood. We don't have any fancy grooming products, just the usual things you find in a local barber shop. The sink in the back sometimes drips, but it gets the job done. We see men of all ages, from little kids to the elderly grandfathers who live down the street. It is a steady flow of people throughout the day. The road outside is usually busy with people going to and from work. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us working the chairs. Usually, there is a newspaper on the table for people to read while they wait. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a place to get a haircut and a shave without any fuss. The work is simple but it keeps us busy from morning till night.
