Paridhan Sangrah

Navgevan Plaza is where we spend our days. It’s located on M. I. Road, which is always packed with traffic and people walking by. Our shop, Paridhan Sangrah, is just one of many inside the plaza. It’s not a massive space, but we have enough room for the racks and a small area to sit when things are quiet. We spend a lot of time just organizing the hangers and making sure the sizes are somewhat in order, though they usually get mixed up by the end of the day. The plaza has its own rhythm, with the other shops opening at different times. We usually get in around ten and start by checking if there are any messages or new deliveries. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the main road, so cleaning the glass is a never-ending task. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is stored in the back rooms. Sometimes we get shipments that take hours to sort through. The lighting inside is okay, but we prefer it when the sun shines through the main entrance of the plaza. We don't really do much advertising. People mostly find us because they are already walking through the building or they heard about us from someone else. It’s a practical way to run things. We just stay busy with the stock we have on hand.
