Our office is over at 45 Sodala. It's not a huge place but it works for what we do. Mostly we spend our time dealing with shipping and packing things up to go out. The export business has its ups and downs and some days are much busier than others depending on the orders we get. We have lived and worked in this area for a long time. You can usually find us tucked away working on paperwork or checking the quality of the items before they get put into boxes. Sodala is a central spot so it makes getting around a bit easier even when the traffic is bad. We aren't doing anything too flashy here. It is just a lot of checking lists and making sure the addresses are written correctly on the labels. Sometimes the courier trucks are late and we end up sitting around waiting on the curb. Other times everything moves so fast we barely have time to eat lunch. We have a small team and everyone knows their job. We handle a variety of products and it keeps us busy through the week. The walls are lined with samples and old folders that have been there for years. It's a practical setup and we like it that way. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that because we are mostly focused on the back-end stuff and getting things moved out the door on time. It isn't always easy to keep track of everything, but we have our systems. We hope to stay here in Sodala for many more years to come.
