Loving Mobile Collection

Loving Mobile Collection at Raja Park 78-C. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter here. It’s a small space but we’ve managed to fit a lot into it. There are phones in glass cases and wires hanging everywhere. You probably know how Raja Park gets in the evening. It’s loud and there’s always someone stopping by to ask about a screen guard or a charger that stopped working. I started this because I liked messing with gadgets back in the day. Now it’s just the routine. Some mornings are slow and I just sit there scrolling through my own phone until the first person walks in. We deal with all sorts of things, mostly fixing what people drop or selling basic covers. It isn't a fancy showroom with lights and air conditioning that makes you shiver. It’s just a shop. My desk is usually covered in tiny screws and pieces of plastic from whatever phone I’m trying to open up. Sometimes the tea guy from next door brings a cup over and we talk about the traffic. That’s pretty much how the hours go by. I’ve seen the same faces for years now. People come in when their battery dies or they want something new but don't want to spend too much. It gets dusty because of the road right outside, so I spend a lot of time wiping the glass. We just keep things moving here day by day.
