Looks Unisex Salon

Looks Unisex Salon is inside the Man Upasana Mall on Sardar Patel Marg. It’s right next to the Shoppers Stop at the Chomu House Circle, so it’s a very easy place to find if you’re in C Scheme. Being in a mall means there’s always air conditioning and plenty of people walking past the windows. We get both men and women coming in for all kinds of things. Some just want a quick trim while others are there for a longer session. The mall environment is a bit different from a street shop. It’s more polished but we still keep things feeling normal inside our doors. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The chairs are lined up and we have the usual salon smells of shampoo and hairspray. It gets really packed on the weekends because of the shoppers. Sometimes we have to tell people to come back in an hour. We don’t have a massive team, just a few of us who know what we’re doing. We share stories with the customers while we work. It’s a good way to pass the time. The mall security guards often stop by to say hello. It’s a little community inside the building. We just focus on the hair and making sure everyone leaves looking a bit better than when they walked in. No fancy promises, just the work. It’s just how it goes.
