Linenwalas

We are located at the Singhal Exports Corner Building by the Surajpol Anajmandi. Our spot is right behind the Rajasthan Feed Mills on Galta Road. It is a very hectic area because of the grain market nearby. You can hear the tractors and the cows all day long. At Linenwalas, we handle a lot of fabric. There are rolls of cotton and piles of white sheets everywhere you look. It is a bit of a struggle to keep the white fabric clean with all the dust from the grain market blowing in, but we do our best with what we have. The building is an old one, with high ceilings and narrow stairs that make moving heavy boxes a real workout for the guys. We have a group of people who spend all day cutting and folding cloth. It is repetitive work, but we talk and listen to the radio to pass the time. The light in the afternoon is actually quite nice through the big windows, even if they are usually a bit grimy. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to visit. If you come here, you will just see people working and stacks of inventory waiting to be shipped out to customers. It gets really hot in the summer and the ceiling fans just move the warm air around, but nobody complains much. We just focus on getting the orders packed. It is a busy, dusty, and very real place to work every day.
