Lila Sha Mobile

You can find our place at shop number 13 in Zhori Bazaar, which is right near the Mansarovar Anaaj Mandi. It is a very busy spot with a lot of people coming and going for their daily vegetable and grain shopping. We focus on mobiles, mostly selling the newer models and helping people get their connections sorted out. The Anaaj Mandi is always full of big trucks and plenty of noise, and all that activity spills over to our street too. We have got glass counters filled with different handsets. Some are expensive smartphones, and some are very basic ones for people who just want to make calls. We also do recharges and sell those little memory cards and earphones. Now it is more about screen guards and colorful plastic covers. We have a lot of those hanging on the walls. It is a small space, so it gets a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at the same time. My brother and I run the place together. We start the day by cleaning the glass counters because the dust from the market is constant and never stops. We do not do much advertising at all; word of mouth from neighbors is usually enough. People from the surrounding Mansarovar area know we are here. Sometimes we have tea delivered from the stall next door while we work on a phone.
