Lavli Hair Dresser is sitting at Shop No-1 on Tonk Road. Being on Tonk Road means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. It is one of the busiest parts of Jaipur so there is never a dull moment around here. I opened this shop a few years back and it has been a steady grind ever since then. The space is small so we have to be very organized with the towels and the spray bottles. I usually keep the door open to let some air in but then the noise from the street comes right in too. You get used to it after a while though. Most of the guys who come in are in a bit of a hurry because they are on their way to work or headed home after a long shift. I try to move fast but I don't like to rush the actual cutting part. It is important to look decent when you leave the chair. We have a few mirrors and some posters on the wall that have been there since the first day. I like being in this part of town because everything is close by. If you are looking for Shop No-1 on Tonk Road just look for the blue door near the corner. We don't have a website or anything like that we just wait for people to walk in and sit down.
