Kuts N Glow

Kuts N Glow is located at number 79 in Dharma Park, right off the Ajmer Road near the Purani Chungi area. We are very close to Sodani Sweets, so the air often smells like frying samosas or sweet syrup in the mornings. It is a busy part of Jaipur, and there is always someone walking by. The shop isn't very large, but we have managed to fit everything we need into the space. I spend a lot of my time organizing the combs and making sure the blades are fresh. The chairs have been around for a while and they are comfortable enough for a quick twenty-minute visit. People from the nearby apartments usually stop in on their way home from work. I see the same faces every month, and we have grown used to each other's stories. The lighting inside is a bit bright because I like to see exactly what I am doing with the scissors. Sometimes the kids from the park come in with their fathers, and the place gets a bit noisy, but that is just how it goes. I don't use any complicated booking systems or anything like that. People just show up, and if there is a wait, they sit on the plastic chairs near the window. It is a practical shop for the local community, and we try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long.
