Kushagra Crafts

Our shop, Kushagra Crafts, is located at 2161 in Krishan Pal Bazar, specifically along Maniharon Ka Rasta in Pratap Nagar. If you know the area, you know how narrow and busy these lanes get. There is a constant hum of people walking by and scooters trying to squeeze through. Inside our space, things are a bit cramped because we have boxes and materials stacked up almost to the ceiling. It smells like wood and different kinds of glue most days. We spend hours sorting through various items and packing them up. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, so we usually work near the front where the sun comes in through the door. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. My cousin handles the inventory while I deal with the people who walk in looking for specific pieces. Sometimes we lose track of a tool and have to spend twenty minutes looking for it under a pile of fabric or beads. The floor is old stone and stays cool even when it's baking outside. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name above the door that’s faded a little over the years. We take our lunch breaks together in the small space behind the counter. It is a simple life, surrounded by the things we make and the daily rush of the market. We just keep at it every day.
