If you know M.I. Road, you probably know Jaipur Towers. We are down in B-2. It’s a solid building, even if it gets crowded during the tourist season. Kuber Handicrafts is tucked away in the basement level, so it stays a bit cooler down here when the sun is really hitting the pavement outside. We have shelves filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected and made. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and wrapping things up for people. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in the summer. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. People come in from the street looking for something specific, or sometimes they just wander in by accident. We don't mind either way. The floors are a bit scuffed from all the feet walking through. We try to keep things tidy, but it's hard when you have so much stock. It’s just a normal shop run by people who live nearby. We don't have a big corporate team. It's mostly family and a few helpers who have been with us forever. We drink a lot of chai during the day and talk to the other shopkeepers in the building. It’s a good community. M.I. Road is always moving, but inside B-2, things are a little slower and quieter.
