Krishna Hair Arts

Krishna Hair Arts is located on Ajmer Road in the Sodala part of Jaipur. It is a very straightforward shop for men's haircuts and shaves. I have been here for many years now, and the shop hasn't changed much. We have two chairs and some mirrors that are a bit worn around the edges. Ajmer Road is always loud with trucks and cars, but inside the shop, we just focus on the work. I don't have any assistants, so I do everything myself. It’s a small space, and it can get quite hot in the summer, but the ceiling fan helps a bit. We don't have any of the fancy stuff you find in the malls. It is just a basic place for a trim. I keep a radio on the shelf that plays old songs while I work. A lot of my customers are people who work in the nearby shops or live in the houses behind Ajmer Road. We don't do anything special, just regular cuts. I try to keep the place clean, but it’s hard with so many people coming in and out. I open the doors early in the morning and stay until the evening. It’s a steady job and I know most of the people who walk past the shop. We don't have a big sign, just the name on the door. It is a simple, honest gents parlour for the local community.
