Our place is over in Man Singh Pura, right near the GPO in Jaipur. Being on Tonak Road 2 means we see a lot of traffic going by all day long. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so it gets warm inside if we do not keep the fans going. It is a simple setup we have here. We have some tables pushed together where we do most of the work. There is not much to see from the outside, just a regular door and a small sign. We spend most of our time dealing with the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. Jaipur is a busy city and this part of it is no different. You can hear the horns honking from the main road even when the door is shut. We get a few people who stop by because they are lost or looking for the post office nearby. We just point them in the right direction. It is a bit cramped inside because we have so many boxes piled up. We keep a small space clear for sitting down and having lunch. It is not an elegant office but it serves the purpose. We have been here a while and know the local shopkeepers around the corner. It is a quiet life inside the shop despite the chaos outside. Sometimes we just sit and watch the rain.
