Chater Creations

Chater Creations is situated at 54 Krishna Vihar, which is near Mahila Sadan in the Ramsinghpura part of Sanganer. Sanganer is a place with a lot of history in making things, and we are glad to be a part of that tradition. Our shop is a simple building in a mostly residential neighborhood. We have a small front area and a larger workspace in the back where the actual creation happens. It is often quite messy with scraps of material and different samples laying around, but that is how we work best. We do not have a big staff, just a few local people who have been with us for years. The area is usually quiet, though you can hear children playing or neighbors talking on the street. We do not have any air conditioning, so we rely on fans and the breeze during the hot Sanganer summers. We usually have a radio playing some music while we work to keep our spirits up. People from the Krishna Vihar area often drop by just to see what we are working on. We do not do any fancy advertising or have a corporate office. It is just a local workshop where we take things one day at a time and try to do a good job on every piece we make. It is a simple life and we like it that way.
