Desert Arts

Desert Arts is located over at P No-1 in Naya Bangla. It is part of Kalyan Ngr-V, right off Tonk Road in Jaipur. If you know the area, it is pretty easy to spot. We have been set up here for a bit now. The space isn't anything you would see in a magazine, but it works for what we do. There are usually a few of us hanging around, working on whatever needs finishing. Tonk Road is always busy, so there is a lot of noise outside, but Naya Bangla stays relatively calm. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. You can find just about anything you need within a short walk. Inside the office, things are a bit cluttered. We have papers and samples everywhere. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, honestly. But that is how we work. We aren’t really interested in having a shiny showroom or a big front desk with a receptionist. Most of the time, we are just in the back getting things ready. It is a simple setup for Desert Arts. We’ve got a couple of old chairs for visitors and a teapot that’s always going. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office. We just do our thing here in Kalyan Nagar and don’t worry too much about the rest of it. It’s home for us, anyway.
