Kcc Agri Logistics (Wankaner) Privatelimited works out of Ambabari in Jaipur. We are over at Plot No. C-20 in Metal Colony. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on trucks moving between here and the Jaisalmer side. It gets pretty dusty and hot around the office, especially when the winds pick up. We handle a lot of the logistical side of farming, making sure things get where they need to go without too much of a headache. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to keep the files and meet with drivers. People around here know us for being busy with the transport schedules. It takes a lot of time to coordinate everything, and sometimes the roads aren't the best, but we manage. My desk is usually covered in receipts and maps. We started this because there was a need to move agricultural goods more reliably in this part of Rajasthan. Some days are longer than others, especially during harvest seasons when everyone wants their stuff moved at once. We just keep at it, one load at a time. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. The Metal Colony area is usually humming with activity anyway, so we fit right in with the noise. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the trucks running and the farmers from waiting too long for their logistics to get sorted out. It is practical work that keeps us on our toes from morning until late evening.
