Kayam Solar

Our small team runs things from the second floor of the KK Tower, which sits right there at Boring Chauraha on Kalwad Road. If you have ever been through Jhotwara in Jaipur, you probably know the spot because the traffic can get pretty thick around the intersection. We have been working out of this office for a while now, handling solar setups for people in the area. It is not a fancy place with leather chairs or anything like that. Mostly, it is just us at our desks with a lot of paperwork and some solar component samples lying around. The stairs up to the second floor keep us moving throughout the day. Rajasthan gets incredibly hot, especially in the summer months, so we spend a lot of time talking about how to get the most out of the sun. We are just local people who know the city and how the weather works here. Sometimes the power goes out in the building and we just sit and wait for it to come back like everyone else. We do not have a big marketing department or someone to write professional speeches for us. We just show up every morning, drink some tea, and get to work on whatever solar projects are on the schedule. It is a simple way of doing things but it works for us and the people who come to see us at the tower.
