S.R. Handicraft

S.R. Handicraft is tucked away at No. 115 in Kailash Puri, just off Tonk Road. It’s a place where we spend our days surrounded by various handmade items. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s mostly just a few of us working on different pieces and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. Tonk Road is always moving, but our little corner in Kailash Puri is a bit more relaxed. We have shelves filled with all sorts of things we’ve made or collected over the years. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have a lot of orders to pack up. We don't really have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a workspace where stuff gets done. People usually find us because they heard about our work from a neighbor or saw something we made. We like the tactile nature of what we do. It feels good to handle the materials and see a finished product at the end of the day. The shop can get a little dusty from all the materials, but that's just part of the job. We keep things simple here. There’s no big corporate strategy, just making sure we do a good job on every piece. If you’re ever near Kailash Puri, you can usually see us through the window working on something new. It’s a quiet life but it keeps our hands busy and our minds focused.
