Kailash Hair Arts

Kailash Hair Arts is right in Bagru, specifically over by the Jhag Bus Stand. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty busy with people coming and going. I’ve been running things here for a bit. The shop is a small spot, but it's got everything we need. Most of the guys who come in are from around Bagru or maybe they are waiting for a bus and realize they need a haircut. I keep my scissors and razors ready on the little shelf under the mirror. It's nothing fancy, just a few chairs and some old cabinets for our stuff. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when three or four people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind much. We talk about the local things, like how the crops are doing or what’s happening in Jaipur city. I like being near the bus stand because there is always something to see. The dust comes in from the road, so I’m constantly sweeping. It’s just part of the job. I don’t have a big team or anything, just me and occasionally some help when it gets really packed. We’ve been here at this location in 303007 for quite some time now. It’s an honest way to make a living and I plan to keep doing it as long as I can hold the shears. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just cut hair and keep the place running.
