Shri Maruti Impex

Shri Maruti Impex is tucked away on the second floor of Kanuta Market, at No. 81. We are right in the middle of Haldiyon Ka Rasta, which is part of the famous Johari Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Johari Bazar, you know how packed and lively it is at all hours. Haldiyon Ka Rasta is a narrow lane, and finding Kanuta Market can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't looking closely for the sign on the wall. We like being on the second floor because it gets us a little bit away from the street level noise, though the sound of the market always drifts up through the windows. Our office is small and filled with samples and shipping papers. We spend our days coordinating the impex side of things from this little spot in the bazaar. It’s a lot of walking up and down the stairs whenever a delivery comes or someone needs to go to the bank. Johari Bazar has a long history, and we feel like we are part of that tradition, even if we are just a small part of the daily commerce. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the orders. The building is old, and the stairs are narrow, but it has a lot of character. The stairs can be a real pain when we are in a hurry. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else because the energy of the bazaar keeps us moving.
