Jodhpur Gents Parlour

Our shop, Jodhpur Gents Parlour, is located at Shop Number 43/58/4 on Varun Path in Mansarovar. This part of Jaipur is always moving, especially being so close to Madhyam Marg. We see a lot of different people every day, from young students living in hostels nearby to older men who have lived in Mansarovar for decades. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a standard blue front with our name on it. Inside, we have enough space for a few people to sit and wait. We keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean, that’s about it. The lighting is a bit bright but it helps us see what we are doing when the sun goes down. Most days are pretty much the same. We start early and stay until the street lights come on. We don't really have a fancy waiting area, just a wooden bench against the wall. People come in, get their hair cut, maybe a head massage if they have time, and then they head out. It’s a practical place. We don't spend much on decorations because we think the work is more important. The neighborhood is friendly and we know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a good spot to be in, even if the traffic on Varun Path gets a bit loud sometimes. It works for us and our customers.
