Jitendra Hair Art

Jitendra Hair Art is located out in Dudu, which is a bit of a drive from the main Jaipur city center. We are right near Khtiko Ki Dharmsala, so everyone in the village knows where to find us. It is a small shop but we keep it busy from morning until late evening. My family has been around this area for a long time. People come here for a quick shave or to get their hair cut before a wedding or a festival. We do not have air conditioning or fancy lights, just the basic tools and a couple of good mirrors. The benches outside are usually full of people waiting their turn and talking about the local news or the weather. Dudu is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so a lot of the time we are just chatting while we work. It gets dusty because of the road nearby, but that is just part of living here. We use simple scissors and razors and try to do a decent job so people keep coming back. We do not have a website or anything like that. If you need a haircut, you just walk down the street near the dharmsala and look for the open door. We are part of the 303008 community and we plan to keep it that way. It is honest work and it keeps us going every day without any big fuss.
