We are over here at B-87 in Mangalam City, right off Kalwar Road in Jhotwara. If you know Jaipur, you know it gets pretty busy around here most days. Shourya Art And Craft Pvt. Ltd is basically just a group of us who spend our days working with different materials to make things people might like for their homes. We don't have a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where things get a bit messy with paint and wood shavings. Usually, someone is sawing something or checking a finished piece for splinters. We’ve been at this location for a while now. My uncle started it, and now we just keep it going day by day. It isn't always easy keeping up with everything, especially when the weather gets really hot in the summer. We try to keep the lights on and the tools sharp. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. We don't really do big advertisements. If someone walks in, we show them what we are currently working on. Sometimes it's a small carving, other times it’s something bigger. We just focus on the job at hand and try not to get too behind on the orders that come through. It's just a regular local business trying to do honest work in the neighborhood. We drink a lot of chai and just keep the production moving along as best as we can.
