Shree Sarees

Shree Sarees is located at 247 Jauhri Bazaar. If you’ve ever walked through the bazaar, you know how packed it gets. There are people everywhere and it’s always moving. Our shop is just one of many along that stretch. Number 247 is right in the thick of it. It’s an old building, like most things in Jauhri Bazaar. We have a small storefront and the inside goes back further than you’d think. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day. It gets hot in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been here for a long time. People who shop in the bazaar usually stumble upon us while looking at everything else. We keep the stock piled high on the counters and shelves. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit because there is so much stuff everywhere. Jauhri Bazaar has a certain energy that you don't find anywhere else. It’s loud and busy from morning till night. We open up early and stay until the crowds start to thin out. It’s not a polished place. It’s just a real shop in a real market. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. Just a shop at 247 where we do our business every day. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break, but mostly we are just working. The walls are a bit stained from age, but the products are kept clean.
