Jaipur Mahanagar Times(A Unit Of Mahanagar Multimedia)

Jaipur Mahanagar Times operates out of Plot No. 77 on Path No. 7 in Saket Colony. We are part of the Mahanagar Multimedia unit, and our office is right on Vishwamitra Marg, just off the main Sikar Road in Jaipur. It gets very busy around here, especially during the morning rush when everyone is heading into the city. Our building is a typical Jaipur structure, and it gets quite warm during the peak of summer. We have the printing and the editorial stuff going on, so there is always a lot of paper around. The desks are covered in notebooks and pens, and someone is usually shouting about a deadline or a missing photo. It is not the most organized place in the world, but the news gets out. We have a small area in the back where we keep the newspapers bundled up for delivery. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, so we all know how to work around each other. The tea seller around the corner knows exactly how many cups to bring us in the afternoon. It’s a busy life, keeping up with everything happening in the Mahanagar area. We don't have any fancy leather chairs or glass partitions, just a lot of hard work and the smell of ink in the air. Sometimes the traffic on Sikar Road makes it hard for people to visit, but we manage just fine.
