Jaipur Handicrafts & Fashions

We are based in Jaipur, a city where everyone seems to be making something. Jaipur Handicrafts & Fashions is just our small part of that huge world of fabric and craft. We don't have one single fancy office address to show off; we mostly work out of a few different spots around the city depending on what we are doing that week. Some days we are looking at textiles, other days we are dealing with hand-carved items. The streets here are always full of color and dust. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we know our way around the different markets and where to find what we need. It’s not a corporate setup at all. Most of our meetings happen over tea on a wooden bench or standing on a street corner. We don't have a big team of people in suits. It’s just us, getting our hands dirty and making sure the items are ready. The weather can be tough, especially in the summer heat, but the work has to happen anyway. We like being part of the local scene here in Jaipur. It’s a place where tradition is just part of the daily routine. We don't try to make things look perfect or polished. We just want them to be real. That’s pretty much all there is to us. We stay busy through the seasons and don't worry about much else.
