Jaipur Guru Blue Pottery Art

Our shop is at Shop No-2, located behind Pano Ki Bagichi near the Airforce School. It’s tucked away in Sri Chandra Nagar, just off Amer Road by the Jal Mahal. If you’ve ever been to this part of Jaipur, you know it’s full of history and tourists. Jaipur Guru Blue Pottery Art is a small place where we keep all the pieces we make. There’s blue pottery everywhere you look, on the shelves and even sometimes on the floor if we run out of room. It’s a bit cramped, but that’s because we have so many different designs. The work is mostly done by hand, so there are always bits of clay or paint around. We get a lot of people stopping by after they see the palace. It’s not a big showroom with bright lights. It feels more like a workshop where things actually get made. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, and we have to spend time cleaning the pots. We don’t have a website or anything fancy, just the shop where we sit and talk to whoever walks in. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the school nearby lets out and the kids are running around. We like being near the water and the old buildings. It’s just us doing our pottery work every day, hoping the pieces don’t break before they find a home.
