Jai Mata Di Handicrafts

We are located at H-2, 558 in the Mini Growth Centre at Sangaria. This is the 2nd Phase of the industrial area. It is a bit out of the way, but that is where all the manufacturing happens. Jai Mata Di Handicrafts is basically a workshop. We have got saws and sanding tools and piles of raw materials everywhere. The air is usually full of sawdust. It is not a clean or quiet place. We are working on various handicrafts most of the day. Some of it is wood, some is iron, it just depends on the season. The industrial area can be a bit grim when it is dusty and hot, which is most of the time. We have a small crew of guys who are good with their hands. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. Most of our work comes from regular buyers who know we are here. We spend a lot of time loading trucks and checking the pieces before they go out. It is a lot of physical labor. We have been in this shed for a while now. We know the other guys in the neighboring units. We share tools sometimes or help each other out with heavy lifting. It is a community of makers. We just want to get the work done right and move on to the next order. It is a basic, hardworking life. There is always something that needs fixing or sanding down before the day is over.
