If you go to Bapu Bazar and head up to the second floor of Dhula House, you will find Jacky Handicrafts. Bapu Bazar is always packed with people, so getting to the stairs can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, especially on the weekends. Once you get up to the second floor, it is a bit quieter, but you can still hear the noise from the market below. Our space is packed tight with all sorts of items. There are shelves from the floor to the ceiling, and sometimes things are just stacked in the aisles. We have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit. It’s a bit disorganized, to be honest, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and talking to the people who climb the stairs to find us. The light up here isn't the best, so we have a few extra bulbs hanging from the ceiling. We've been in Dhula House for a while now. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and maybe a few too many pigeons on the ledges. We don't do any big advertising. People mostly find us by word of mouth or by just wandering up the stairs while shopping in the bazaar. It’s a simple life, and we are just here every day, doing our bit in the middle of the city without making any fuss about it.
