Jaanavi Fashions

Jaanavi Fashions is located at Laxminath Chowk, right in the Chhipo Ka Mohala area of Bagru. This neighborhood is famous for its printing and fabric work, so we are right in the middle of everything. Our shop is usually full of different types of cloth, threads, and sewing machines. It isn't a very tidy place because there are always scraps of fabric on the floor and half-finished projects sitting on the tables. We don't have a big window to show off our clothes. Most people just know we are here and walk in to talk about what they need. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the machines stitching or cutting fabric to size. It gets quite warm in here during the summer months, but we have a couple of old fans that keep things moving. We aren't a high-end fashion boutique with fancy lights and mirrors. It’s more like a workshop where we actually make the clothes ourselves. The street outside is narrow and can get quite crowded with people and bikes. We have been in this spot for years and know most of the other shop owners around the chowk. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but we just keep at it. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just focus on getting the sewing done right for our customers. Some days we stay late just to finish an order that was promised for the next morning.
