Indo Mughal Marble Arts

You can find us at B-1 Ramgarh Mod, right near the Karbla area. It is a bit of a dusty spot because we work with marble all day long. There is always the sound of cutting or polishing going on in the background, so it is never really quiet here. We have all kinds of stone pieces lying around the yard. Some are big slabs leaned against the wall and others are small things we have been working on for a bit. It is not a clean gallery where you have to take your shoes off to walk around. It is a real workshop. My hands are usually covered in white marble dust by noon every day. We do a lot of traditional designs because that is what people around here seem to like the most. We have been at this location for years, and most of the guys working here have been with us since the start. We do not put out ads in the paper or anything fancy. Usually, someone sees a piece of work we did for a neighbor and asks them where they got it. We just sit here and do the carving work. Sometimes it takes a week to finish one small piece, and other times we are moving fast to get a big order out. The traffic at Ramgarh Mod can be a bit much in the evenings, but it brings people by our door. We just keep the tools sharp.
