Indian Art Emporium

Indian Art Emporium is located at No. 78 in Mahaveer Colony, which is just off Ajmer Road. Being near Ajmer Road means there is usually a lot of traffic and noise nearby, but once you get into Mahaveer Colony, things quiet down a little bit. We have a lot of different pieces of art and items packed into our space at number 78. It isn't a huge gallery with white walls and fancy lights; it’s more of a place where things are kept on shelves and in corners. We spend our time looking after the items and talking to anyone who stops by to take a look at what we have. Some of the stuff has been here for a long time, and we try to keep the dust off as much as possible, though it's a constant job. It’s a local business and we don’t have a lot of corporate rules or big meetings. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings for us. Most of the people who come in are just passing through or live nearby in the colony area. We’ve been at this Ajmer Road location for a good bit of time now. It’s a simple life, surrounded by these items every single day. We don’t really do much in the way of big promotions. We just let the work exist and keep the doors open for anyone who is curious.
