Imliwala Overseas

Imliwala Overseas is located at 335 Johari Bazar. If you know the area, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in the city. We’ve been based here for a long time, and the building itself is old and has a lot of stories. Working in the export and overseas trade means we spend a lot of time thinking about shipping containers and dates. It’s not always exciting. Most of the time it’s just us sitting around a table with a lot of paperwork and some cold tea. The office is small and cramped because of all the samples and files we have to keep. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy lobby. We just have a door that’s usually open to let in a bit of air. Being in Johari Bazar means we are right in the middle of everything. We see the same vendors and neighbors every single day, and we always stop for a quick chat. We aren't trying to be some global powerhouse. We’re just a small team of people who have learned the trade over many years. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear ourselves think, but we manage. We don't have a complicated way of working. We just do the paperwork, make the calls, and hope the shipments arrive on time. It’s a plain, honest business. We just take things as they come and try to get the orders out of the door without making too many mistakes along the way.
