Identity Creation

Identity Creation is over in Khatipura, Maharana Pratap Nagar, at house number 169. It is basically a small workspace where we do our creative stuff. We have a couple of computers that have seen better days and a printer that occasionally makes a weird clicking sound. Most of the time, we are busy with design files or trying to get a print job finished before the power cuts out. People come in with all sorts of requests, like business cards or some banners for a local event. We aren't a big agency with glass walls and coffee machines. It’s just us sitting in a room with a lot of paper scraps on the floor. Sometimes a design takes longer than expected because we want it to look okay. We often stay late, and the street outside gets really quiet while we are still staring at the screens. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s a calm place to work compared to the city center. We don't have a big sign outside, but people find us through word of mouth. It's just a regular local business where we try to do our best with the tools we have. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk, but other days it’s a mad rush to get things out the door. We handle everything from simple black and white copies to more colorful projects, and we just take it one day at a time here in our Khatipura office space.
