House Of Handicraft

If you ever find yourself walking through Johari Bazar, you know how packed it gets with people and rickshaws. Our place, House Of Handicraft, is located at 4791, K.G.B.Ka Rasta. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but we like being tucked away like this. The building is old, and you can see it in the walls and the way the doors creak. We spend our mornings dusting off the shelves because the dust from the street always finds its way inside. There are always boxes stacked in the corners filled with various things people have made by hand. It’s a lot of looking through items to make sure nothing is chipped or broken. We drink a lot of chai while we work, mostly talking about the weather or how the market is changing. Some days are slow, and we just sit near the entrance watching the locals go about their business. Other days, we are busy wrapping things in old newspapers to keep them safe. It’s not a shiny corporate office, and we don't try to make it look like one. We have a few fans that hum quite loudly, but they help when the Jaipur heat gets too much. It’s just us here at 4791, doing what we do every day without much fuss. We know the neighbors well, and that makes the long hours feel a bit shorter for everyone.
