Hindustan Tent House

We've been at Kishanpole Bazar 38 for a while now. It’s a busy area, but people know where to find us. Setting up tents for weddings or local functions is mostly what we do here. It’s hard work, especially when the weather isn't great, but we get the job done. We have a lot of different poles and fabrics stored in the back. Sometimes things get a bit messy during the peak season, but that's just how the tent business goes. People come in to talk about their dates and we check the ledger to see if we're free. We aren't a big fancy office, just a practical space where we keep our gear. If you walk past number 38, you’ll see our stuff being loaded or unloaded from the trucks. It’s a lot of lifting and moving pipes around. We know the neighbors and the local streets quite well. Sometimes the traffic in the bazaar makes it tricky to move the big lorries, but we manage. We’ve seen many families grow up and come back for their kids' events. It's just us working through the day-to-day tasks. Most of our time is spent outside at the actual sites, making sure things stand up straight and look right for whoever is hosting the party. It’s simple work but keeps us busy all year. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our sign outside.
