Hemant Art

Hemant Art is over in Bhagirath Nagar, near the Arjun Nagar area. If you know the Tonk Phatak crossing, we are not too far from there at S-36. It is a bit of a residential spot but with plenty of shops around. Our space is usually full of materials and whatever project is being worked on at the time. There is usually dust from the cutting or paint smells depending on the week. We started here because the rent was decent and it was close to home. It is not a gallery where everything is clean and white. It is more of a workshop. Things get messy. We have brushes in jars and stacks of boards leaning against the walls. Some days are quiet and we just sit and work on small details. Other days are a bit of a rush. Neighbors stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask for a quick fix on something. The light in the morning is pretty good through the front door. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the actual work. People find us mostly through word of mouth or if they live nearby and see the sign. We have been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly when we want our afternoon cup. It is a simple life, making things and keeping the shop going day by day. Nothing fancy about it. We just enjoy the work we do in our corner.
