Down here on Road Number 7 in Basni, things move at their own pace. We are based at F-263, which is tucked away in the second phase of the industrial area. It’s a dusty part of town, especially when the wind picks up and blows sand from the empty lots nearby. Inside our walls, it’s mostly the sound of tools and people talking over the noise of the fans. We handle a lot of different pieces throughout the week. Some days are slower than others. The workshop is usually full of materials waiting to be turned into something else. We aren't big on fancy decorations in the front office. It's mostly just piles of paperwork and maybe an old calendar from three years ago still hanging on the wall. The guys working the floor know their jobs well. They don't need much direction. We drink a lot of water because of the heat in Basni. You get used to it after a while. Sometimes customers come by to see what we are doing, and they have to step over bits of scrap or crates being packed up. It's not a showroom; it's a place where work actually happens. We’ve seen other shops come and go on this street, but we’ve stayed put. It feels like home even with the grease and the grit. We just keep our heads down and finish whatever order is on the table that day. It's simple work but it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
