Hassani Overseas

Our place is Hassani Overseas and we’re located on the ground floor of Ganpati Plaza, which is right on M.I. Road. Being at number 89 in a plaza means there are always people walking past the windows. M.I. Road is one of the busiest streets around, so the traffic noise is constant throughout the day. The shop itself isn't huge, but it’s easy to find since we’re right on the ground level. We have a tiled floor that gets a lot of footprints from the street dust, so we have to sweep it a few times a day to keep it looking okay. There are some glass counters where we keep things on display, but they’re not the fancy modern kind. They’re a bit older and have a few scratches here and there. We have a small back room where we keep a kettle and some extra supplies. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze back there. The lighting is okay, though one of the bulbs usually needs changing. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We don't use any corporate jargon or have big meetings. We just talk over the counter and decide what needs to be done next. It’s a good spot to be in because everything is close by. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the crowds, but that’s just how it is.
