Hari Om Collection

Hari Om Collection is tucked away in the basements at 3/138. We are in the Badda Bazar area, specifically on Kiran Path in Mansarovar. Being in a basement has its ups and downs. It stays a little cooler during those really hot Jaipur summers, which is nice, but we don't get much natural light. We have to keep the tube lights on all day long just to see what we are doing. The stairs coming down can be a little narrow, so we have to be careful when we are carrying heavy bundles of stock. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main market, but we like it that way. We spend the morning folding things and making sure the displays aren't too messy. People in Mansarovar usually know where to find us. We don't do much advertising. Mostly, it’s just people from the neighborhood who know the Badda Bazar area well. The walls are painted a simple white, and we have some old racks that have been with us since we started. It’s not a fancy boutique or anything like that. It’s just a place where we keep our stuff and wait for customers to come down the steps. Every now and then, we have to move things around to keep it interesting, but mostly it’s just the same routine every day. We’re just local people doing our bit.
